There is always something fascinating happening in nature...being there to witness it requires a combination of patience and luck.  And, well, usually a telephoto lens. 

Nature is so volatile that you never know what you’ll see; it could be the hatchlings’ first feeding, or fish’s final five minutes.  By the end of a typical day of shooting, I have felt wonder, amazement, excitement, frustration, sorrow, and joy...but most of all, inspiration.
